Abstract
Plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) is one of promising vehicle type to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The potential of PHEV is highly dependent on the mileage need of the vehicle, the availability of charging station, the capability of the electrical source, and the commitment of the driver itself to do the charging. The present study is aimed to analyze some interdependent factors in actual driving of PHEV to its fuel economy. The analysis was conducted by using the actual data from daily driving of six drivers. The PHEV is gasoline engine equipped with 8.8 kWh battery. All drivers have access to the charging station at workplace with their own daily mileage from home to workplace. The availability of charging station in drivers- home was not same due to the difference in capacity of electrical source. The PHEVs were provided with data acquisition covering mileage, fuel consumption, fuel economy, engine mode duration, EV mode duration, etc. The results showed that the fuel economy of the PHEV varied highly depended on the combination of factors faced by each driver. The access to the charging facility and the time availability to do charging impacted to the daily charging frequency, then affected the EV driving ratio. The daily mileage also strongly affected the EV driving ratio and then impacting the fuel economy of the PHEV. The charging frequency of the six drivers varied from 0.6 times/day to 2 times/day. Houses with electrical capacity 3500 W is capable to charge the PHEV at 8A current in 5 hours until full charged. The charging facility in workplace was able to charge at 16A current in 2 hours until full charged. The fuel economy of the PHEV varied from 29.2 km/l until almost 100 km/l. The fuel economy at 29.2 km/l was not so different with the fuel economy of HEV without plug-in feature, so the large capacity of the battery was not beneficial. The results underlined that the charging facility and the electrical source capacity together with the recommended driving distance of the vehicle were the very important consideration to decide the battery capacity installed to the PHEV.

Abstract
Trains are a means of transportation that is used by people to avoid congestion. However, the train station is one of the most frequently exposed to noise. This is due to the sound intensity of the operational activities in the location. Passengers and station officers are environmental components exposed to noise. In this study the value of sound intensity level at the railway station of Medan city is measured using Sound Level Meter. This measurement was carried out for six days. The highest sound intensity level for the train departs by 96,67 dB and for the train arrival of 96,66 dB. While the lowest sound intensity level of train departures is 81,41 dB and the arrival of trains is 83,75 dB. It can be noted that the high level of sound intensity is sourced from the friction of the wheels with the rail surface, notification speakers and train horns. It can also be used to find the most appropriate solution to reduce the noise level in the railway station area

Abstract
Torrefaction is thermochemical processes to make biomass a fuel that has better properties, such as increased carbon content and calorific value. It is a temperature sensitive process which is effective between 200 0C and 300 0C in an inert environment with a residence time of 20-60 minutes. Palm kernel shell is one of the biomass that has the potential to be used as fuel, where its availability is abundant and has good physical properties. In this study of palm kernel shell torrefaction was carried out from 0.5 cm sieve with three variations in temperature and residence time follows 250 0C - 300 0C and 20-40 minutes. The results obtained are the increase in temperature and residence time causes an increase in the calorific value but relatively on energy yield because of a large mass loss at a temperature of 300 0C. The optimum process for torrefaction palm kernel shell according to calorific value and energy yield is 275 0C with residence time 30 minutes.

Abstract
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) coated magnetite Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been successfully shyntesized by using chemical co-precipitation method with variation concentrations. The magnetite Fe3O4 nanoparticles used as a bimolecular labels (nano-tags) exhibiting a soft magnetic behavior with Ms of 77.16 emu/g and Hc of 49 Oe respectively and polyethylene glycol (PEG) as a stabilizer and dispersant. XRD patterns and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed that Fe3O4 was well crystallized and it grew in their inverse spinel structure with an average size of around 10 nm. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) results suggest that PEG indicated with Fe3O4 via its carbonyl groups. Result of Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) shows that Fe3O4 have exhibited good magnetic response and easily attracted to a magnet placed beside with superparamagnetic behavior. Such Fe3O4 nanoparticles with favorable size and tunable magnetic properties are promising biosensor applications.

Abstract
The production method of MEZ-1, MEZ-2 and MEZ-3 wells produce is a natural flow. However, during the fluid production process from the reservoir to the surface on the oil field, the production rate is decline because of the decrease in reservoir pressure. The decrease in the production rate was due to the bottom hole pressure not being able to lift the production fluid to the surface. Another factor is due to the influence of the production fluid phases which is flowed to the surface, which will affect the rate of oil production obtained. Therefore, optimization is needed to increase the rate of production in these wells. Production optimization conducted by changing the production method using artificial lifts. In optimizing production, the thing that needs to be considered is screening criteria from the artificial lift that is in accordance with the condition of the wells. The first thing to do in optimizing production is collecting and validating field data, then identifying reservoir types and behavior. Therefore, determine the formation of productivity, namely productivity index and inflow performance relationship (IPR). Calculating the MEZ-1 and MEZ-3 wells IPR using the Pseudo Steady State Method and the MEZ-2 well using the Vogel Method. Furthermore, calculating the existing wells and determining the desired production rate, then screening the criteria for the lifting method. The replacement of production methods on the "MEZ" field is carried out by artificial lift methods, namely Electric Submersible Pump (ESP). The selection of artificial lift methods will be used by looking at the screening criteria of each artificial lift method that is in accordance with the well condition on the "MEZ" field and found that in the "MEZ" field well the production method replacement optimization is carried out using ESP. According to ESP artificial lift method criteria are ESP can be operated at a high rate, high GOR, good in deviated wells. ESP planning on the "MEZ" field considering the amount of free gas produced, other than that calculating the sensitivity of pump intake pressure to various prices of production rates and Turpin values to determine the price of the optimum production rate for each well.

Abstract
The availability of selections on higher education institutions in Bandung has created a rigid competitiveness in its market. Offering a suitable academic curriculum and facilities becomes inadequate. International Women University (IWU) is the first university in Indonesia that focuses on women empowerment while offering international program as its brand value. Even though it is categorized as new, IWU has a strong brand image on women and internationality. The analysis of IWU-s brand equity was done by qualitative (in-depth interview) and a quantitative method applied in order to observe the basic information regarding the type of social media they use the most, the time consumption, as well as their attitude towards celebrity endorser (3 sets of question regarding digital media consumption). 3 different group of stakeholders such as potential students (high school students), parents, alumni, are chosen as the respondents with total number of 30 people. 3 (three) different group of respondents have similarity in perceiving IWU to be distinctive and unique. While the 3 (three) of them also recognize the international program offered by IWU. Moreover, potential students and parents think that IWU is an institution that accept “women only” perceiving from the name given. While alumni think IWU as credible. And lastly, the 3 groups would likely recommend IWU to their friends, relatives, families, etc. The usage of digital media is summarized as 5-8 hours per day for both potential students and alumni, with Instagram as the social media used the most. Meanwhile, parents use internet on average of 1-3 hours on their daily basis, with Facebook as the social media they consume the most. 3 groups think that endorsers play important role in representing products.

Abstract
Lignosus rhinocerotis Cooke. (L. rhinocerotis) is a mushroom traditionally used in the treatment of asthma and several other diseases by the indigenous communities in Malaysia. To date, there is limited scientific data on its anti-asthmatic effects. Aim of the study: To evaluate the effects of L. rhinocerotis on airway hyperresponsiveness, inflammation and asthma genes expression in an asthma murine model. Materials and methods: L. rhinocerotis extract (LRE) was prepared by a hot water extraction using a soxhlet. Animal studies were performed using two in vivo models; 1) house dust mite (HDM)-induced mice for evaluationof airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) and 2) ovalbumin-induced rat for evaluation of airway inflammation. AHR was performed using a whole-body plethysmograph while airway resistance (RI) was measured in response to increasing concentrations of methacholine. Airway inflammation in rats was evaluated by assessing 1) eosinophils, neutrophils and lymphocytes numbers in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) by a flow cytometry, 2) mucus producing goblet cell in the lungs tissue by Periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining and 3) asthma pathway related genes expression in the lungs by a quantitative polymerase chain array. Results: Treatment with LRE significantly inhibited AHR in HDM-induced mice. Histological findings revealed that LRE can ameliorate OVA-induced histological changes in rats by attenuating mucus hypersecretion and goblet cell hyperplasia in the lungs. Flow cytometric analysis of BALF indicated that LRE reduced the number of eosinophils and helper T lymphocytes while elevating the number of regulatory T lymphocytes in the BALF. Subsequent analyses on gene expression revealed regulation of several important genes involved in allergy asthma pathway following treatment with LRE. Conclusion: In this study, LRE alleviates airway hyperresponsiveness, airway inflammation and regulates asthma genes expression, thus suggesting its therapeutic potential as a new armamentarium against allergic asthma.

Abstract
Steam deposition techniques for fabricating CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Diselenide) thin films require accurate environmental control and high costs, for which several alternative fabrication techniques have been developed. In this research the liquid phase method has been used with variations of decantation which will further affect the energy of the band produced. The CIGS film has been deposited on ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) substrate with doctor blade technique and XRD measurement which shows the resulting sample has a tetragonal crystal structure. SEM results show that the porosity of the film varies and the grain size of the CIGS increases with the number of decantation processes of oleylamine solvents. Band energy gap from CIGS decreases as oleylamin solvent decreases after the decantation process.
