Abstract
Shallow foundations are commonly used for low-rise buildings. The column axial loads and moments are transmitted to the soil through a reinforced concrete pad. The size of the pad as an isolated footing depends on the bearing capacity as well as the base column loading. In this paper, the bearing capacity of the soil is taken from Terzaghi formula so that designing the size of the footing is not straightforward. This is because the soil bearing capacity depends on the soil properties, and the depth and width of the footing. Therefore, the soil bearing capacity and the width of the footing should be obtained iteratively. This condition is coupled with the thickness and reinforcement of the concrete footing to resist shear and bending moment and to attain the optimum design. To solve the problem and to obtain an optimum design, a genetic algorithm (GA) is used. The objective is to design a square concrete footing to minimize the cost of the foundation. Two cases are considered in this paper. The first case is when the depth of footing is decided before hand by the designer. In this case only the width of the pad, the thickness of the concrete, and the amount of the reinforcement have to be obtained. The second case is when the width of the pad, the thickness of the concrete, and the amount of the reinforcement as well as the depth of the footing should be obtained as the design variables. For both cases the optimum design can be achieved by using genetic algorithms.

Abstract
An ocean tol has been built in Indonesia. Thus, it is needed many ships to fulfill this programs. The marine ships are operated on sodium chloride (NaCl) environment, so that the ship materials have to be able to withstand the environments. The purpose of this study is to characterize the crack propagation of AA5083H116 and ER5356 electrode-welded materials under static loading in an environment containing 3.5 wt% of NaCl. This study was started with construction of the bending test equipment in accordance with the Brown and Beachem and ASTM E 1681. The IZOD notched specimens used in this test were prepared using electrical discharge machining (EDM) according to the ASTM E-23. The test was carried out at constant loading of 40 N with time variations. During the loading, the specimens were immersed in a 3.5 wt% of NaCl environment. The deflections and times during loading were then recorded and finally the specimens were fractured using liquid nitrogen. The crack lengths were measured by means of optical microscope in order to characterize the crack propagation vs stress intensity factor. The fracture surfaces of the specimens were examined using SEM-EDS to characterize their fractography and chemical elements. The results show that the crack propagation of welded materials of 10 mm/s speed travel was lower than the other and the fracture surface indicates intergranular fracture, while the chemical elements shows there are of Mg, Na, Cl elements on the fracture surface.

Abstract
The emergence of new digital technologies and social media has made a tremendous change on the way how students learn. In Malaysia, the government has made huge investments on ICT facilities in institutions of higher learning to create a digital learning environment for the students. Meanwhile, usage of social media has also become an integral part of the life of Malaysian students. Social media is now a new source that enables the students to gain more information through the sharing by users around the globe. This paper explores the usage of digital technologies and social media by creative arts students for artwork development, specifically looking into their operational skills and knowledge as well as their medium-related skills and knowledge. The finding of this study is collected through in-depth interview sessions with nine creative arts educators from both public and private institutions of higher learning. Educators hold different views on how creative arts students use digital technologies and social media for creative artwork development. Some of the educators are also concerned about creative arts students skills in finding and managing references and resources found. The challenges that creative arts students encounter in sharing their creative artwork on social media for getting feedbacks and comments are also discussed.

Abstract
Creative-economy has become a center attention of the Indonesian government, which is established with Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (Bekraf) in 2015. However, funding or capital is still considered as the main obstacle for the creative-industrys startups, as the driver for creative-economy, in developing their business. The difficulties faced by the creative industries actors to get funding from banks or financial institutions, because the majority of the actors hold intangible assets. This study focuses on creative industries sub-sector which dominantly holds intangible assets, namely application and game developer sub-sectors and has purpose to examine the parameters of loans, credit and funding in organizational and institutional. These contain indicators that will be analyzed whether these might influence the funding to the actors. The study was conducted by interviewing the investors who were speakers and pitching judges at the Go-Startup Indonesia event on October 26, 2018 in Bandung. Explorative research is carried out by using qualitative methods. Triangulation is used for checking the validity of data. The result of the analysis shows there are nine indicators that influence investors in determining their investment. By optimizing these indicators, it is expected that creative-industrys startups become easier in obtaining the funding for their business sustainability.

Abstract
At present there has been a paradigm shift in the guidance and counseling approach, namely from a traditional, remedial, clinical, and centered approach to counselors to a development and preventive oriented approach. One of the counselors creative efforts is to grow and build relationships with the counselee by implementing cross-cultural counseling services with problems that can be measured in terms of culture, ethnicity, and even gender. One form of the problem that currently often occurs is the low empathy. Empathy is the ability to put ourselves in others, that we understand how other people feel, and what causes their reactions without our emotions dissolved in the emotions of others. Efforts to increase student empathy that have been carried out by BK teachers have only been merely instructional which essentially only "attacks" the cognitive aspects of students. Therefore, a new counseling approach for life is needed in this 21st century, the tendency of cross-cultural insightful counseling. The cross-cultural approach is seen as the fourth force after a psychodynamic, behavioral and humanistic approach according to Paul Pedersen. Cross-cultural counseling involves counselors and counselees who come from different cultural backgrounds, and therefore the counseling process is very vulnerable to the occurrence of cultural biases on the part of the counselor which results in counseling not being effective.

Abstract
The increment of online-based transportation shows the desire of the society to find out cheap and fast alternative transportation as a response to the bad public transportation services provided by the government. This online transportation phenomenon has become popular quickly because it offers the latest innovations in transportation combined with online communication technology so that it makes it easy for people to order motorcycle taxi anywhere and anytime. By analyzing the sentiments of the people as road users, it is intended as a reference for the service units of the relevant government agencies to determine the level of public sentiment towards traffic congestion caused by online transportation so that it can be used as material for assessment and evaluation. In this study the writer conducted sentiment analysis on Twitter social media to determine the level of public sentiment towards congestion caused by Online-Based Transportation. The steps in conducting a sentiment analysis include preprocessing, extraction feature and classification. The making of the sentiment classification model uses two algorithms namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor. After testing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm has an accuracy value of 84.00% with AUC of 0.862, while the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm has an accuracy of 80.00% with AUC of 0.740 with 250 sampling.

Abstract
The issue of death anxiety and fear of death is a great concern for health care providers due to the emotional and behavioural outcomes of the recipients of care. Theoretic and observed findings on the death concept have not been thoroughly examined in the nursing research especially towards the elderly point-of-view. This theory generation utilized the grounded theory methodology via inductive approach to theory development that would explain the death experience, consciousness and acceptance towards death in an individuals lifetime. Data were gathered from the older population using purposive sampling. Interviews were semi-structured and based on the death perception and experiences of the older participants. Both memo writing and comparative analysis was used during the course of the study and also aided by the method of open, axial and selective coding. In this study, theoretical categories were generated to derive the following propositions: Overcoming death experiences results to death acceptance; death consciousness influence death acceptance; death acceptance lead to the process of death preparation; and spirituality is an essential element of death experience, death consciousness, death acceptance and death preparation. The theory generated is that death acceptance is an accumulation of death experiences and ones spiritual beliefs which translate to death consciousness that results to the acceptance of ones mortality gearing towards death preparation.

Abstract
Deemed Consent – a unique concept or feature in an agreement – refers to under what conditions a contract will be legally accepted and completed in certain circumstances by the contracting parties. This concept is important to ensure the banks contract can be deemed as valid even without the consent of the customer. In principle, a contract is not deemed as a valid contract until an offer is accepted by the contracting parties. In fact, deemed consent element also has been practised and embedded in number of banks products and services. However, until now there are no conclusive fatwas or resolutions from Shariah scholars on that concept. Moreover, there are no guidelines or parameters developed by the central bank or IFI itself to govern the implementation of deemed consent. Does deemed consent considered as Shariah compliant concept? Does deemed concept fulfil all the required pillars and conditions of Shariah contracts? Does the current practice of deemed consent can be justified as acceptable according to the Shariah requirement? Does deemed consent have a certain limitation of time to ensure it complies with the Shariah and can be legally enforced? Hence, this paper aims to answer these questions as a guide for any industry players to adapt this concept into their products and services. Shariah deliberation in deemed consent is important to avoid any dispute occurred later that can give a negative impact to both contracting parties.

Abstract
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) and platelet rich fibrin (PRF) source from human blood and have play role in bone recovery. Both of them could be incorporated into scaffold. Synthetic coral scaffold is a mimicking from sea coral naturally that designed for bone regeneration. It should have biodegradability and bioabsorbability that influence in new bone formation process. Purpose of this study to investigate the swelling, degradation profile and gel fraction of scaffold that incorporated with PRP or PRF. Synthetic coral scaffold consist of gelatin, calcium carbonate, and sodium nitric as dispersant, divided into 3 group, incorporated PRP, PRF, and No. incorporation. Scaffold was soaked in phosphate buffer saline and incubated in 37 degree C. Scaffold weight was measured in every 30 minutes to observe the profile swelling and gel fraction. Degradation profile was observed after 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours. Acceleration of degradation was measure after soaking with HC1 1N after 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, 96 hours until the scaffold ran out. The result showed significant differences among PRP, PRF, and control group. PRP incorporation have a slow degradation, good swelling and higher gel fraction that presented the strengthen of scaffold structure.

Abstract
The development of new media has brought people to the "other world", many of them, feeling themselves not being grounded in a world of reality, which is full of social values that are usually upheld in everyday life. One of the effects is the emergence of deindividuation phenomenon, in which a person loses self-awareness and decreases the fear of the individual in giving comments in the media because they feel in a certain group. This study aims to explain how deindividuation phenomenon arise in the virtual world, especially on online news media using the deindividuation theory of Gustav Le Bon. Deindividuation phenomenon can be seen in online news media, when someone comments on news about one of the presidential candidates that he does not support with inappropriate words. Values of politeness, ethics and religion seem to be ignored. Power to give comments raised because as one group of supporters of certain candidates. Anonymous conditions have reduced a persons self-awareness and made his feelings of fear disappear.

Abstract
Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) is used as a guideline for calculating delays and queues at unsignalized intersections. Since it was published in 1997, there has never been an update on IHCM. The aim of this study is to improve the IHCM formula to calculate the delay and queuing in unsignalized intersections. Traffic data on 8 cities in Indonesia has been collected, then a delay and a queue calculate using the IHCM formula. The results of the assessment are based on calculating using IHCM formula, delay values and queues are different from field values. The high level of mayor road traffic flow (> 3000 vehicles / hour) and minor (> 800 vehicles / hour), as well as the right and left turn ratio (> 10%) is one of the reasons that the calculation in IHCM becomes inappropriate. Furthermore, by comparing the results of calculations with the results of the field, it appears that motorcycles determine the composition of vehicles at the intersection, so it has been improved the value of passenger car equivalent for motorcycles. In addition, it was also approved to improve the value of base capacity for unsignalized intersection.

Abstract
The presence of government program called the village of resilient disaster (DESTANA) shows that disaster governance has begun to transform from a top-down to bottom up approach. The village government is the main stakeholder in managing the community for disaster. In this case democracy is made as the main pillar of vulnerable groups so that they are involved in empowering themselves after the disaster. This article aims to describe how the democracy process in post-disaster governance in Mendak Village, whether democracy is the dominant factor in restoring the economy or is there another factor that is more dominant in influencing that success. The data in this article were obtained from interviews and reviews from previous studies. The results showed that post-disaster governance was able to generate new economic resources and have an impact on improving the economy. .Although democracy exists but it turns out that all the initiations and dominant development ideas came from informal stakeholders, namely the husband of the village head who served as a Member of DPRD in Madiun District. Therefore, democratic legitimacy only seems artificial because the culture there is still "obedient" to whatever the leaders say.

Abstract
A Bedside monitor is an equipment used to monitor patients condition through some parameters that needs sustainable monitoring so that the patients condition is still monitored. Generally, there are several parameters in a Bedside monitor, i.e. Heart signal, Heart rate, respiration, body temperature, non invasiv blood pressure (NIBP), and SPO2. Heart signals can be used to detect patients heart condition such as: whether there is a heart attack or not, whether the heart is defected or not, whether the heart beat is normal or not, and whether the heart has received blood with sufficient oxigen. To help medical staffs and peramedics in hospitals in monitoring patients heart, previous research has been done entitled Design of Cardiograph Machine Based on Atmega Microcontrol (Sience & Irianto, 2016). However, it still has weaknesses. One of them is that the equipment can only monitor point to point heart signals, meaning that one ECG is only used to monitor one patient (not applying multipoint to point). Further, it is completed by creating Design of heart signal based on telemetry (Irianto, 2017). In the research, there are several ECG machines that function as monitor heart signal only. This research is development of previous research that is Design of bedside monitor based on microcontoller can be monitor 5 parameter such as Heart signal, Heart rate,Temperature, Respiration and SPO2. The design of this research applies quasi experimental design. The free variable is ECG phantom or human, and the dependent variable is bedside monitor. The research instruments are calibration equipments of ECG signal, temperature, and respiration. The result of heart signal lead 2 is not differened with the standard and the result of heart rate lead has uncertainty (Ua) 0 for Lead 2; which is still under the tolerance number (0,5). The result of temperature measurement of 5 samples with 5 measurements is 3 samples has deviation standard and uncertainty 0 (zero), whereas 2 samples has uncertainty 0,76 (higher than 0,5). This condition is influenced by patients movements, so the sensor attached on the patients body does not fit with the standard installation. The result of respiration measurement has accuracy 98 percentage, whereas the result of SPO2 after compared with standard calculation has deviation standard and uncertainty under 5 percentage that is STD 0,894427; 0,547723; 0,44; Ua 0,4; 0,244949; 0,2 and 0,2. Ovrall, it can be concluded that Desaign of bedside monitor based on microcontrol is feasible and the mesurement result of heart signal Lead 2, heart rate, temperature, respiration, SPO2 can be presented on PC.
